New Show to Launch Focusing on Shale, Land and Energy

December 28, 2011 (Youngstown, OH.) – Local home grown residents, Denny Malloy, Jr. and Rob Palowitz are taking their past years of being on the air onward to another venture. In support of some eager sponsors and cooperation of their colleagues at Clear Channel, announce the airing of a new show, "Mahoning Valley Shale & Energy Show" brought to you by Outdoor Icon Natural Resources Group. The show will debut Thursday, December 29th at 6 pm EST on News Radio 570WKBN AM station and again Friday, January 27th at 6 pm EST. The purpose of the show is to take some of the fear, lies and exaggerations that exist with this tri-state equivalent of a 21st century gold rush, Utica shale drilling.

Denny Malloy will be joined by Paul Lyden of Lyden Oil Company, as co-host who will support and answer any specific oil questions that would arise on or off air. Mr. Lyden is another local resident with a long history of being in the area growing up in his family run business of oil and energy supply. Mr. Malloy's experience of being a graduate of West Virginia University in natural resources and past experience as an Ohio DNR officer, will provide listeners with education, enlightenment and factual information. Topics that will be covered will help listeners understand the differences in leases, rights, deeds, drilling and fracturing, for example, showcasing expertise with non-bias interviews from people in those specific industries.
